Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • On a large baking sheet, layer tortilla chips.
  • Add black beans, shredded cheese, avocado, cilantro, jalapeño, lime juice and red onion to the chips.
  • Season with cumin, chilli powder, salt, and black pepper to taste.
  • On top of the toppings, add another layer of tortilla chips.
  • Add more black beans, shredded cheese, avocado, cilantro, jalapeño, lime juice and red onion to the chips.
  • More cumin, chilli powder, salt, and black pepper to taste.
  • Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese melts and bubbles.
  • Remove from the oven and set aside for a few minutes to cool.
  • Serve the nachos with diced tomatoes and homemade Mexican salsa.
