Homemade Artichoke Sauce Recipe

Instructions

  • Pulse the artichoke hearts in a food processor until finely chopped.
  • Warm the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Cook until the garlic and red pepper flakes are fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, with the chopped artichokes in the skillet.
  • Bring the chicken or vegetable broth to a simmer.
  • Reduce the heat to low and leave to cook for 10-15 minutes.
  • Stir in the Parmesan cheese and heavy cream until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
  • Season to taste with salt and black pepper.
  • Serve warm as a dipping sauce or over your favourite pasta.
