  • Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl for the guacamole.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the red onion, jalapeno, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and black pepper.
  • Mix everything together until everything is evenly combined and the avocado is mashed to your desired consistency.
  • Fold in the chopped tomatoes and combine gently.
  • Season with salt and pepper as desired.
  • To make the Marinara, heat the olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.
  • Cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly, after adding the minced garlic and red pepper flakes.
  • Stir in the chopped tomatoes, salt, and pepper to taste.
  • Simmer the mixture for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, over medium heat, until the sauce has thickened.
  • Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the parmesan cheese and basil.
  • Serve the guacamole and marinara dips alongside your favourite chips or vegetables.
